in its historic range through education, research, and habitat

Association for Bear Research and Management (IBA) is a non-profit
tax-exempt volunteer organization open to professional biologists,
wildlife managers and others dedicated to the conservation of all
species of bears. The organization consists of several hundred
members from over 20 countries. It supports the scientific
management of bears through research and distribution of
information. |

Grizzly Encounter in
Bozeman Montana is a rescue organization in Montana. It was
created to provide the best home possible for rescued grizzly
bears that can not survive in the wild and to give the public
the amazing experience of seeing grizzly bears "close-up", with
NO BARS OR CAGES, in a safe and spacious natural mountain

Get Bear Smart Society (GBS),
based in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, champions progressive
management policies that reduce both the number of human-bear
conflicts and the number of bears destroyed. We accomplish this by
educating people on dealing with bears in their communities; and
promoting innovative non-lethal bear management practices. |
